Updated system - data capture software system - rapid deployment
Our data capture software designed and developed at JBS Direct over many years has just undergone a significant update. The latest changes not only allow the data capture of brochure requests to be quickly and accurately entered into a database for fulfilment but now allows new campaigns to be set-up very quickly. Thus allowing our clients to alter the data capture approach at a moments notice.

Updated system - converter for e-commerce web files
JBS have designed and produced a software program so that clients can pass their Actinic web order files to JBS without modification. This new module takes Actinic web files and converts them into a database that is used to produce Delivery Notes, etc. for the fulfilment of products ordered on the client's web site. This system went live in November 2006.

2007 is the bi-centential of the abolition of slavery. To mark this the charity Churches Together in England have produced special church resource packs under the banner "set all free". JBS receive orders from the client on a daily basis direct from their international web site which are then processed to produce: pick lists, invoice/delivery notes and address labels. JBS then pick, pack and despatch the products to the customers. With the client's fast-moving stock JBS have also set up an on-line stock facility so that the current stock levels can be viewed over the Internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. JBS have a another new client: Active Wellbeing a new start-up company. New on-line information system for JBS clients
JBS have developed an on-line information system for their clients. e-Vision allows you to connect over the internet to JBS's servers and gives you access to all sorts of useful information. You can access this system from your office (or home) using your normal browser via your organisation's unique user name and password. The information available includes: your current stock held in our warehouse including the up-to-date quantities; the progress of your current jobs and useful contact data. This exciting new system will be rolling out to clients in the next 3 to 6 months.

A new on-line Trainer distributor has chosen JBS to be its Fulfilment partner. The web site sells unusual and niche market trainers. JBS have designed and produced an on-line store for the sale of various household products for the JBS Store, which includes DVDs, Kitchen gadgets and Beauty products. Sales on this site are fulfiled by JBS Direct from products stored in their warehouse in Farnborough, Hampshire. POS project for Boots and Kodak
JBS Direct has completed a major Point of Sale (POS) project on behalf of Boots the chemist and Kodak. This project involved significant POS packs for distribution to every Boots store in the UK. The packs included a wide variety of POS materials, which were counted, folded, collated and individually packaged before inserting into cartons. JBS awarded a new POS project for a major beverage supplier
JBS Direct announced that they have been successful in winning a POS (Point Of Sale) project for a household name beverage supplier. The initial work involved the formation of 1/4 million individual POS packs each hand enclosed and completed in less than 10 days. New Premises
JBS Direct has moved to new premises in Farnborough, Hampshire - near to the famous airfield. This building offers an improved environment for our clients' Mailing and Fulfilment stock. It has excellent communication links with Junction 4A of the M3 only 2 miles away and Farnborough's main line station only minutes away offering connection to London Waterloo in 40 minutes.
